2019 A Year in Community

Community by Design

At Veyron we're all about community. We design places and spaces that people want to live in. That means thinking outside the bounds of just providing rentals to the much broader commitment of creating places that people can call home. This extends beyond the individual units to the shared areas of our properties. We add spaces and amenities to support and enhance community. Spaces like Community Rooms, Large Roof-Top Patios, Lounging Areas and Fitness Rooms. Veyron also takes great pride in the look, the quality, the maintenance, the cleaning and the security of our buildings so that our tenants can feel good about where they live. 

 

Going the Extra Mile

We don't stop there though. We do our best to go beyond the tangible elements of community. For example, we hold an annual Christmas Lights Contest for our tenants to help everyone get into the holiday spirit. We work cooperatively with them in our efforts to support local charitable efforts. And, because community doesn't just happen indoors, our most recent initiative was a Community Garden at our five7five property to provide an opportunity for our so-inclined tenants to stretch their green thumbs.

 

Supporting the Larger Community

Our commitment to community doesn't end there. We believe in supporting the larger community as well. In 2019 Veyron Properties Group made donations to the Campbell River Food Bank and the Comox Valley Food Bank. We cooperated with the wonderful people that call our properties home and collected clothing items for the Salvation Army and non-perishable food items for our local food banks. Together with our partner company, Crowne Pacific Developments we also provide local jobs and support a number of local businesses. We are a local company and we are continually growing with and investing in the region.
